Data Deletion Instructions

1. Why so little to delete

Analytics Lens is built to avoid holding onto your data in the first place: reporting data flows from the platform you connect (Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Shopify, Meta Ads) directly into the Google Sheet you own, and isn't kept on our servers afterward. That means there usually isn't a separate copy of your data sitting somewhere that needs a special deletion request — deleting it where it already lives, below, is normally enough.

2. Delete the data in your own Sheet

Since your reports live in a Google Sheet you own, you're always in full control of that copy — delete the rows, the tab, or the whole file the same way you would with any other Sheet.

3. Revoke Analytics Lens's access to a connected account

Removing the add-on's access to a source stops any further data from being read. Where to do this depends on the platform:

  • Google (Ads, Analytics 4, Search Console, Sheets): go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, find "Analytics Lens," and remove access.
  • Meta (Meta Ads): go to Meta's Business Integrations settings, find "Analytics Lens," and remove it.
  • Shopify: from your Shopify admin, go to Apps, find "Analytics Lens," and uninstall it.

Uninstalling or revoking access this way also triggers each platform's own notification to us that access has ended, on top of anything you request directly.

4. Request deletion directly

If you'd like written confirmation that any data associated with your account has been deleted from our systems — or if you believe something wasn't covered by the steps above — email support@analyticslens.ai with the email address and connected platform(s) in question, or use the "Get in touch" form on this site. We aim to confirm within 30 days.

5. What this covers

This page satisfies data-deletion requirements for app reviewers on Google, Meta, and Shopify's platforms, and applies to anyone who has connected an account to Analytics Lens, whether or not you're the one who installed it. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture of what we collect and why.
